One more day to go

Ok all you avid/diehard fans. Thank you for bieng with me for so long. I have only one more day to stay in my Canadian house and it feels a bit strange. Last night I slept on my first proper bed-double size and I could not fall a sleep for a long long time. Revinding all the good/bad moments I had to live through....... Anyway, I will try to post a short video here and then on X-mas day I am going back to Belgrade Serbia to RESTART my life.

I am still alive and kicking : )

I know, I know I have not posted anything for a long time. SORRY things were going a bit hectic so I had lots on my plate.

Spain was amazing as always, however I realized that it is difficult for me to make a living there at this time. I am not giving up but refocusing my path to happiness.

I decided to move back HOME=THE TRUE ONE. I sold my property in Canada and I am moving to Serbia and from there I will continue my journey and "fight" for happiness.

Hi all,

Yes it has been a few days but they were eventful for me. I saw more of the town, experienced a very interesting tour of the town on a scooter so I felt at least for 4 hours as a domestic "Barceloner" ; ) Apart from playing the tourist role, I did more serious things since my idea for coming here was to find employment and try out my luck in living here. Must tell you it is not at all rosy. The byrocracy is tough but there must be a way for me to make it. As I said to people back in TO if I find that it is very very difficult to make it here at least I did not go down without a fight and I will know forever that Barcelona is a place I will visit on more than one occasion in the future. For now I have to keep my head up and find a way. In the mean time enjoy some more photos.

Here am I with some more news

Hi everybody,

I have been gone for a few days from my own blog, how irresponsible : )

Well it's not like I was sitting idle. I did a bus tour of the city, which I recommend to everybody irrelevant of your destination since it gave me an idea what to revisit again when I have more time and company. I saw Barcelona in short and brief and am planning my next adventure.

I have also been apartment shopping and there are 3 potential spots I have to recheque next week and then once that is over, then the real thing begins, job hunting and assimilating into the environment. I will try to learn Catalan so I even better understand the locals. For now I will leave you with a few more photos.

Ok folks here is a little sample of the trip so far. Today I will still play the tourist role and then from tommorow I start hunting for jobs and apartments.

Well my viewers around the globe, I AM FINALLY IN EUROPE/SPAIN-BARCELONA and it feels surreal.

The trip was interesting, started with a very unexpected "bump' to business class from Toronto to Frankfurt THANK YOU A MILLION ROB=the MIRRACLE WORKER ;)) we did leave TO 2 hours late but it was worth it. I started off with a glass of bubblley and a nice snack followed by all the other goodies that flying first class gives you BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT is the ability to sleep, the seats are wide and recline almost horizontal so I had a good nap. Too bad the flight lasted 7 hours of which 2 were spent eating so in reallity I only slept 5 hours but what would have happened if I was cramed in Economy ?? Once in Frankfurt, the plane was late to BCN 1 hour. Go figure I thought Lufthansa was more efficient bit since they joined Star Alliance I think they became weaker. Anyway, all is well when it ends well, my friend Ana welcomed me to Barcelona like we were relatives and I will never forget this TU ERES AHORA CON SUSANA Y BEN mi exptended family en Spain.

So now I am writing to you from a very nice Residence @ the University of Barcelona where I will be staying for some time till I find my own place and a decent job.

Well enough blogging for now. When you do a move like this and from a house temporarely end up in a small bachelor appartment LIFE GETS A INTERESTING PROSPECTIVE : ))

I will post some photos since now I am beat and have to communicate with my family and friends here in Spain.

Some news

Hi all,

Here is some news from me. In order to start my trip I have to sell my car and motorcycle. So far the motorcycle has more positive feed back and the car is going "on the drum" starting tomorrow. In any case I should be leaving TO the 2 nd/3rd week of May.
